I wanna be huge
I want to radiate across the world
I want girls to be sitting on their computer at 1:34 am in the morning, come across my song and fall in love
I want to be the good thing at the end of a day for a sad and lonely 13 year old
I want to be the hope a person clings to
I want to inspire
I want to fill peoples ears with magic and joy
I want them to stop and listen
I want to make an impact doing what I love.
Last week I did an open mic night at a cafe here in Tucson. The whole place was dead silent the entire time I was singing. People on the street heard me singing and came inside to listen.
This is what I’m supposed to be doing. This is what I WANT to be doing. More than anything in the world. God, please make it happen.
